All things great about Treyburn and Durham

Treyburn neighbor and friend Branford Marsalis made news again this week when nominations were announced Wednesday for the upcoming Grammy awards.  Marsalis music scored in the category of best large jazz ensemble album for "alma Adentro:The Puerto Rican Songbook."

In recgnition of Branford's great talent he was also recently awarded North Carolina's highest civilian award in the fine arts category.

Branford and his quartet, which includes another Treyburn neighbor Joey Calderazzo, will be performing January 13 and 14th at the Reynolds Theater at Duke University.

Thanks Branford and Joey for making Treyburn and Durham a great place to live!
